Come and see the screening of the fascinating documentary ‘The Wings of the Sun’ which shows the construction and testing of the record-breaking ‘Solar Impulse’ solar-powered aircraft that flew across America in 2013. This is in support of the current attempt by pilots André Borschberg and Bertrand Piccard to fly its successor, ‘Solar Impulse 2’ and become the first to fly a solar-powered aircraft around the world. Their goal is to help spread the message of sustainable design.

Nibbles provided on arrival and after the screening there will be a short video of the Across America flight, Q&A and hopefully live pictures from ‘Solar Impulse 2’!
