Ensure Just Transitions to Low Carbon Future

It is recognised that industries vary greatly in their need to produce carbon emissions. Individual audits of industry types should be used to explore what can be done to reduce the carbon footprint. Research material needs to be provided to industries which could become more efficient. In cases where the technology is considered outdated efforts must be made to find alternative employment for displaced workers rather than just closing the industry. This will include a movement away from coal power stations and new mines.
