The Wilderness Society of Tasmania in co-operation with Wild Island Gallery is excited to present Wild Flicks a monthly film night on current environmental issues.
This month's film, Chasing Ice, is a breathtaking documentary that follows time-lapse photographer James Balog and his team through the Arctic to capture the Earth's changing glaciers. This film is unique as it captures a multi-year record of the devastating erosion of the world’s glaciers. Plagued with technical problems, camera malfunctions and health issues, Balog delivers not only a visual stunning cinematic piece but a dramatic documentary that has to be seen to be believed.
